As you know, I was out for a handful of weeks in August working remotely in Sicily, Italy and Spain. I did not anticipate my time being as busy and hectic. I was juggling a full-time job, engaging in the self-development program, meeting its members and getting to know the local culture.
To bring you up to speed, I’m back in Austin to pack up my place into a storage and leave to Cape Town, South Africa by September 30th for a minimum of six weeks. I came to this decision based on timing, money and a renewed outlook on how I want to manage my life differently.
Side note: I’m not a permanent nomad, at least I don’t think so. I foresee continuing these adventures, at most, until the early part of next year. Austin will always be the home to revert to when I need to reset.
When I drafted my first 100 goals over two years back, I desired to be busy with a plan(s), different from a life on hold while waiting for the next chapter to begin. It’s safe to say that’s happening.
I have quite a few observations and revelations from this first trip that I will share in the coming weeks.
‘Till Next, Elisa
